In addition to the “VALENTINO MADE IN ITALY” notation on the neck tag, elements such as the Milano address of Valentino S.p.A. found on the care tag, multilingual quality markings, Japan’s former JIS laundry symbols, the Brazilian corporate notation, and the product management code P44201585 suggest that this is likely an authentic item from the period around 2012 to 2016—capturing the atmosphere of the co-creative director era of Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli.
The outer fabric is composed of 93% cotton and 7% polyester. With dimensional floral lace spread across the entire piece, soft ivory-toned hues are enriched with subtle shadow and depth, creating a refined romanticism characteristic of VALENTINO—sweet, yet never overly decorative.
Designed as a short jacket with a collar, the compact length and clean silhouette beautifully frame the upper body. The hem and cuffs feature a scalloped finish that makes use of the flow of the lace pattern. As a result, while it is a light layer, it also offers ample glamour as a dress jacket.
Inside, a 100% silk lining has been added. It provides a smooth touch and a high-quality drape while tastefully moderating the lace’s natural translucency.
