From Y’s, which continues to propose the beauty of clothing that is not swayed by the times—through functionality rooted in everyday life and its distinctive form that envelops the body—we are pleased to introduce a sculptural masterpiece from the 2014 autumn-winter collection.
Made with richly textured black cotton fabric, this saruel-style piece features hems with different lengths and volumes on the left and right, creating dimensional shadows as you walk.
The waist is designed with a gentle drop at the center. Buttons placed at both ends and side zippers help maintain a refined silhouette while neatly holding the generously cut bodice in place.
The gently curved seam lines add natural shaping to the large areas of fabric. Combined with the sharply angled hemline that extends to one side and the softly falling drape on the opposite side, the piece is finished in an asymmetric silhouette that changes expression depending on the viewing angle.
