Layering the refined tailoring with the tension of rock, and connecting Saint Laurent Paris's classics to the modern world in the shortest way, we introduce an exquisite piece that encapsulates the passion of early Eddie directly.

Based on the neatness of British houndstooth, this masterpiece switches the peak lapel to black lamb leather, creating a balance of elegance and aggressiveness at the same center of gravity.

The outer fabric is 100% virgin wool, with a subtle rhythm that rises delicately, and because of the dense weave, it does not appear overly soft; only when viewed closely does it reveal depth. Complementing this is a leather lapel that flows smoothly from the collar to the chest, replacing the usual satin lapel's gloss with leather density, giving a restrained shine when illuminated, with only the outline remaining strong, adding tension around the face.

The single-breasted design is cleanly cut, with a line that falls straight down the front, and the classic details such as flap pockets highlight how the leather contrast functions not as decoration but as part of the design. The cuffs are neatly fastened with multiple buttons, and the increased density around the cuffs accentuates the overall sharpness of the jacket, which is a pleasing feature.

The inner lining is made of 100% silk, making it lightweight to put on, and the body does not catch or bunch up during wear, maintaining the beauty of tailoring in everyday movements. Moreover, since the leather part is 100% lamb leather, it has a fine texture, and instead of asserting itself with stiffness, it creates a subtle gloss and a difference in the texture of black, embodying the refined rock couture that Eddie was known for.

Regarding the era, it is clearly from the 2010s or later, as the main label reads SAINT LAURENT PARIS and the care label shows YSL.COM, and the manufacturing code contains the number 2013, indicating it was made shortly after Eddie's appointment in 2013. Additionally, the combination of wool with lamb leather lapels symbolizes the fusion of leather and tailoring proposed by Saint Laurent at the time, naturally supporting the early atmosphere of the brand.

Positioning this work as a special collection of MOOD, there is value in choosing traditional patterns while updating the maison's nocturnal context with leather. Houndstooth has traditionally functioned as a symbol of norms and class, but Eddie borrowed that order to define the silhouette and raised the emotional temperature with the black lapel, transforming classicism into a weapon rather than merely preserving it. Furthermore, the luxury of lining it with silk balances the tension of the exterior with interior comfort, making it a tailored piece that includes the wearer's mannerisms, which remains a strong added value compared to recent similar items.

In terms of styling, simply pairing a neat pair of slacks with a minimal shirt makes the contrast between the pattern and the lapel the main feature, creating a poised presence regardless of gender, and by adding a simple long coat and high-quality boots, you can naturally incorporate the intersection of rock and couture that Eddie depicted into everyday life. Instead of adding decorations, a well-balanced, clean proportion results in a more refined piece.

Take this opportunity.
