Here, the print is woven so that tradition and technique interlace, and the smoothness unique to French silk harmonizes beautifully—an exquisite piece.

Drawing the eye are finely illustrated rope and chain motifs, as well as a design derived from Hermes harnesses that calls to mind a horse bit. Metallic elements also familiar to military aesthetics create a refined, composed sense of rhythm through the contrast between deep, rich dark green and yellow ochre. This sophisticated color scheme lends a depth reminiscent of abstract art even within the limited canvas of a necktie, while still exuding a subtle but strong individuality.
