We introduce the MA-1, characterized by an oversized fit comparable to 5XL sizes.
This is a masterpiece from the German company STURM, a long-established surplus manufacturer founded in 1971, which supplies various military forces, including the United States Army.
The MA-1 flight jacket was developed by the United States Air Force in the early 1950s as a successor to the earlier B-15 flight jacket, and has an extremely simple appearance to avoid snagging on various equipment and gear in the confined space of military aircraft.
The item we are introducing this time reproduces the basic details of the MA-1 while featuring an extremely oversized silhouette, with the arms extending to around the knees even for individuals around 170 cm tall.
As a side note, the reason the MA-1 is reversible with an orange color on the inside is said to be for easier detection by allies in the event a pilot has to make an emergency landing.
