Since its founding in 1945, CELINE has expressed the refinement of each era, grounded in tasteful minimalism and practical femininity. We would like to introduce a truly exceptional piece with beautiful tailoring.

With its poised black reminiscent of older CELINE from around the 2000s, this design features a metal chain discreetly placed on the underside of the collar, adding a quiet touch of individuality.

The outer fabric is made from a finely woven blend of 97% wool and 3% polyurethane. The deep black tone carries a subtle sheen depending on how the light hits it, while offering the refined texture unique to wool and a natural stretch that moves with the body. As a result, you can enjoy a comfortable fit that is structured without feeling stiff, despite the compact tailoring.

The front features a minimal one-button closure. While the shoulder area has the constructed feel characteristic of a tailored jacket, the silhouette is beautifully shaped with a waist seam, and a peplum-like line that gently flares toward the hem creates a feminine sense of volume within a poised impression.

The lining is made of a smooth blend of acetate and polyester, supporting comfortable sleeve movement and stability of the form. As for the date, we do not determine it based solely on the CELINE logo on the neck tag without accent symbols. Instead, we consider it comprehensively: the indications available in the quality marking such as MADE IN FRANCE, the LVJ group, and “Céline Japan,” the older JIS-type washing instructions, and the fact that it does not feature a QR code or an extensive multilingual tag arrangement seen in current items. At our shop, we therefore classify it as an archive piece from around 2003 to 2008.
