The intrecciato, a braided leather technique that has been passed down through generations in the Vicenza, Italy workshop, has been an identity of the brand since its inception, and is like a language that eloquently tells the story of Bottega Veneta without relying on excessive logos. This piece, in particular, is carefully braided one by one using high-quality nappa leather, creating a deep shadow effect both visually and tactilely.

The front flap is designed at a slightly sharp angle, and while based on a classic construction, it quietly exudes a modern sharpness, and the sense of balance that exquisitely fluctuates between archive and innovation is excellent. Furthermore, the lock mechanism made up of vintage-style metal fittings and the internal keyed leather tag give the impression of silent but overwhelming reliability.
