80s–early 90s sculptural double-bridge aviator sunglasses
From BALENCIAGA, which inherits the constructiveness rooted in couture and an innovative sense of beauty, we present a standout piece distinguished by its sculptural excellence.
Blending substantial blow-line styling with refined metalwork on a bold aviator silhouette, this piece delivers a powerful yet polished impression around the face.
Built around a lens shape that leans square, with added vertical dimension: by layering deep-colored resin—starting from a dark brown close to black and shifting toward a burgundy-like tone—over a gold-colored metal rim, it achieves both classic radiance and an expressive depth. Meanwhile, the double bridge crossing the upper portion further enhances the sharp, self-assured character distinctive of aviator design.
Brown-toned gradient lenses are used, gently diffusing the gaze and naturally softening the frame’s presence. On both sides, gold-colored logo hardware that depicts opposing BBs in a three-dimensional manner is placed, adding BALENCIAGA’s distinctive refinement even to the profile.
