From BOTTEGA VENETA (Bottega Veneta), which pours an avant-garde edge into traditional craftsmanship and continues to captivate fashionistas around the world, this is a masterpiece from the 2022 Spring/Summer collection created by creative director Matthieu Blazy.

At first glance, these are impeccably tailored wide slacks, yet the detailed, precisely engineered three-dimensional pattern cutting truly shines. The standout feature is the unique curved silhouette, gently drawn from the hem downward. The hem is cut so it slightly dips inward, and with a wide double finish, it creates a distinctive drape and beautiful three-dimensionality when worn, delivering a modern, sculptural sense of volume at the feet.

The fabric is crafted from an exceptionally high-density, premium cotton 100% textile. With an ideal balance of thickness and firm body, it maintains the strong silhouette that perfectly expresses Matthieu’s pursuit of “the movement and presence of garments.” The color is dark navy, conveying a deep, serene impression. It exudes a refined, urban mood and offers excellent versatility that harmonizes with tops of any color.

Even the details encapsulate the Maison’s devotion. At the back waist, there are three-dimensional belt loops shaped like the “V” motif, an icon of Bottega Veneta—an understated accent when tucked in. In addition, by incorporating bold stitching throughout, the design preserves the elegance of dress pants while exquisitely blending in tough, workwear and military-like nuances.
