“GUCCI” 2010’s organic relief cuff bracelet

$2,362.00

Founded in Florence in 1921, Gucci has a roots as a travel gear workshop and has continuously produced innovative creations through the ages. Here, we introduce a sculptural piece that reinterprets the brand's decorative aesthetic in a modern way.

This cuff bracelet features an organic relief pattern across the entire surface.

At first glance, the surface may look like an irregularly raised metal mass, but it is actually constructed from intricately designed three-dimensional ornamentation. Its texture evokes fragments of ancient decorative metals or weathered sculptures, and the play of shadows on the surface creates a complex visual expression as it catches the light.

The material used is a brass-based metal, and the deep tone created by aging or intentional antique finishing remains in the grooves, emphasizing the three-dimensional pattern. This design approach makes the decoration resemble a sculpture, highlighting its sculptural quality.

The C-shaped cuff structure balances ease of wear with a natural fit on the wrist. Its slightly curved shape inward ensures that it does not exert excessive pressure when worn, making it an accessible design for everyday use while still being jewelry.

What is particularly impressive about this piece is the discreet placement of crystal stones on the inner side of the bracelet, set in a concealed manner that is almost invisible from the outside. This design allows only the wearer to feel its sparkle, making it a highly symbolic detail that adds a personal narrative to the jewelry.

Inside, you can see the Gucci Made in Italy stamp, and since the logo is in a sans-serif font, it matches the engraving style adopted for jewelry lines after 2015.

This logo design has been widely used in collections since Alessandro Michele became creative director in 2015, and it is clearly different from the serif logo often seen in Gucci jewelry before that. Therefore, it is highly likely that this piece was produced during Michele's era, around 2015 to 2022.

Furthermore, this organic decorative expression aligns with his philosophy of maximalism and reinterpretation of historical decorative cultures, symbolizing Gucci's creative approach of reconstructing ancient jewelry and Baroque ornamentation in a modern way.

In terms of styling, the subtle glimpse of the metallic three-dimensionality from the neatly tailored shirt or jacket cuffs stands out, and when combined with minimal coats or long silhouette outerwear, it creates an outfit where classic and modern Gucci intersect. Additionally, pairing with leather items or tailored styles enhances the presence of sculptural jewelry, allowing for a versatile and stylish look.

Take this opportunity.
