From BURBERRY BLUE LABEL, which layered a light, refined sensibility onto classic designs of British origin and built a style uniquely of Japan, we present a one-of-a-kind piece featuring beautiful checks. Crafted during the Japan license period by Sanyo Shokai, this piece allows you to fully enjoy the appeal unique to the previous line.
Made with 100% wool fabric for the main body, featuring thickness and a gentle brushing feel, it is based on a dark navy close to black and deep brown, with fine mustard yellow-toned lines running through. This creates bold check patterning with a calm, composed expression, finishing in an exquisite color balance that maintains a classic presence while still blending easily into everyday attire.
With no clearly defined shoulder line or sleeve seam, the cape silhouette wraps the body loosely, combined with a three-dimensional hood. On the front, cowhide leather straps and a square metal buckle are arranged in two tiers, adding a precise accent to the soft texture of the wool. The fringe that cascades along the hem creates a natural expression each time you move, while a gold-colored knight motif-embroidered design and a patch embossed with the brand name provide a subtle yet unmistakable identity.
