クラシカルな仕立てを軸に、ルイヴィトンらしいエレガントな印象を足元に添えて頂けるこちらの逸品。
やや長めに設定されたノーズラインと、なだらかに絞り込まれた甲のラインが印象的で、正面から見るとすっと空気を切るような細身のシルエットが際立ちますね。トウから甲にかけては濃淡のグラデーションが美しく浮かび上がり、履き込むほどに表情を増していく上質なカーフレザーの艶を楽しんでいただけるつくりと言えます。
サイドには、波打つように重ねられたレザーパネルが三層になって連なり、歩くたびに柔らかな陰影を生むデザインで、一般的なプレーントウのドレスシューズとは一線を画す立体感が宿っています。この曲線的な切り替えが、足首から甲にかけてのラインをすっきり見せてくれる為、スラックスの裾から少し覗くだけでも造形の美しさが伝わる一足と言えますね。
ヒールの付け根には、小さなメタルプレートであしらわれたLVロゴがさりげなく配されており、横から見たときにだけブランドの存在感が静かに光るディテールになっており、ソールは薄すぎず厚すぎないバランスで、ドレッシーな佇まいを保ちながら、都会の舗道を長時間歩いても疲れにくい実用性にも配慮された設計です。靴紐は細身で、羽根周りのミニマルなステッチと相まって、全体の印象をよりエレガントにまとめ上げられていますね。
スタイリングとしては、テーラードジャケットとウールのスラックスに合わせて、モード寄りのドレススタイルに落とし込むと、この靴のシャープなラインがいっそう引き立ちますし、程よくゆとりのあるシャツと落ち感のきれいなトラウザーを合わせて、トップスは少しリラックスさせつつ足元で全体を引き締めるコーディネートもおすすめです。
