パリのマドレーヌ寺院界隈で馬具工房から始まり、「職人技の伝承」「移動・旅行のよろこび」を
コンセプトとしたHERMESより、ブランドのルーツを体現した柄使いが美しい逸品をご紹介致します。
伝統と技巧が交錯するように織りなされたプリントと、フランス製シルクならではの滑らかさが調和したこちらの逸品。
視線を惹きつけるのは、繊細に描かれたロープやチェーンモチーフ、そしてホースビットを想起させるエルメスらしい馬具由来の図案。ミリタリーにも通ずる金属的な要素が、深みのあるダークグリーンとイエローオーカーのコントラストにより、上品で端正なリズム感を生み出しています。その洗練された配色設計は、ネクタイという限られたキャンバスの中に、まるで抽象画のような奥行きを感じさせ、さりげなくも力強い個性を宿していますね。
織り目の美しいツイル地は、絹糸特有の光沢を穏やかに湛えながら、首元に自然と馴染むしなやかさを持ち合わせており、締めた際には結び目に程よい立体感が生まれます。そのため、カジュアルになりすぎることなく、あくまでドレッシーな品格を保ったまま、遊び心を忍ばせる演出が可能です。
また、裏面にはHERMÈS PARISのロゴとともに、馬車のロゴが施された織りネームが付き、時代を超えて受け継がれる“エルメスの視覚言語”を象徴するディテールが備わっています。このタグ一つからも、メゾンがネクタイを単なる装飾品ではなく、小さな芸術品として扱ってきた歴史を読み取ることができます。
