パリのマドレーヌ寺院界隈で馬具工房からはじまり、「職人技の伝承」「移動・旅行のよろこび」をコンセプトとしたHERMESより、ビビットな色使いの美しい逸品をご紹介致します。

一般的にレジメンタルタイと呼ばれる様な、斜めのストライプ柄が特徴のネクタイで、その起源は19世紀後半から20世紀初頭にかけてのイギリス軍が、各連隊を表すパターンを作ったことに由来します。

こちらの逸品では、濃いネイビーと明るいネイビーのストライプパターンに、ストライプの境目に沿う様にして、ビビットなピンクとグリーンの糸によるステッチが施されており、境目が浮き出す様な独特な印象を受けますね。
