1972年に山本耀司が手掛けた最初のブランドであり、男性の服を女性が着るというコンセプトを掲げるY'sより美しい仕立ての逸品をご紹介いたします。

燕尾服の様な、背面の長くなったシルエットが特徴のこちらの逸品。

基本的には深めのvネックと程よくえぐられた袖という、大変ベーシックなベストのデザインですが、背面のみ長く作られスリットを入れられたディテールが独特の雰囲気を作り出します。

テーラードジャケットなどの仕立てに使われるしっかりとした厚めの生地を用いているため、大変上品でラグジュアリーな印象に仕上がっています。

また、背面部のみ光沢感のある裏地を表に出したようなベストに特有のデザインでありながら、燕尾部分の裾にかけては表地のしっかりとした生地が使われており、Yohji Yamamotoらしい伝統を残しつつ新たな要素を組み合わせたものを生み出す姿勢を感じさせられますね。
