We are pleased to present a special piece from Dries Van Notten, a Belgian designer who is one of the Antwerp Six, who pursues high fashion with impeccable craftsmanship and dynamic yet balanced designs.
This masterpiece appeared in the SS22 collection titled "Invitation from Antwerp." With a moderately loose fit, it was used in a relaxed look typical of SS2022, paired with an oversized striped shirt, sunglasses and sandals. Its relaxed atmosphere and classic impression unique to tailored clothing made it a main item that kept the overall outfit balanced.
The material is a combination of cotton and wool, and the surface has a smooth finish, giving it a sophisticated and clean impression. The fabric is a little stiff, so the beautiful straight lines of the shoulders, body, and sleeves stand out, giving it a modern yet smart look.
In addition, the neatly stitched white thread from the inside of the bodice to the inside of the collar is very beautiful, demonstrating the high level of craftsmanship that has been passed down by the Maison and the pride of the brand in paying attention to even the details that are not visible when the garment is worn.
