Three cities, six looks

Which style do you prefer?

We translated the history and culture each city—Paris, London, and New York—brings into six LOOKs.

This is a concept centered on items from the Vintage Collection—not recreating the street look as it is, but replacing the ideas behind it with your current wardrobe.

Even with the same items, if the city and culture you pair them with change, their roles and impressions change as well. First, take a look at the styles that you are intuitively drawn to.

CITY STYLE A way of thinking about styling
PARIS CLASSIC Soften refined clothing with patterns and ease
PARIS AVANT-GARDE Show familiar clothes in a new light with proportions and structure
LONDON PUNK Complete proper attire, then layer an outsider on top
LONDON Y2K Move past rock into the present with dark tones and texture
NEW YORK PREPPY Replace the role of a staple with something unmistakably you, in just one place
NEW YORK STREET Add one exquisite point to rugged everyday wear
Paris · Classic vs Avant-garde

THE PARIS EDIT
Classic or Avant-garde

THE PARIS EDIT

The appeal of Paris lies in the coexistence of honoring tradition and creating something new.

In classic styling, while keeping refined pieces like trench coats, ties, and slacks, the fit is loosened and patterns in the same tonal range are layered. It is not about breaking formal wear, but about softening it into a state that lets you move naturally through the city.

In contrast, the avant-garde uses everyday staples such as denim jackets, striped shirts, and wide-leg trousers. By changing proportions—through a cropped upper body and large lower half, plus long cuffs and slits—the emphasis shifts away from the clothing itself toward its proportions.

One keeps the shape and eases the tension. The other keeps the clothes and shifts the assumptions.

What you can see from the two LOOKs that appear to be exact opposites is that “Parisian-ness” is not found in the items themselves, but in how you edit the clothes you already have.

For those who want to fine-tune the way patterns and accessories are combined, and for those who want to express individuality through changes in silhouette—you can find differences in how you are drawn to things, against the same city backdrop.

London · Punk vs Y2K

THE LONDON EDIT
Punk or Y2K

THE LONDON EDIT

Both of the two LOOKs share black, leather, ties, and weighty shoes.

Even so, the impression is different because the same items play different roles.

In Punk, an English formal look is completed with a Glen check setup, a white shirt, and a narrow tie—then finished by layering a black leather rider on top. Not to add more rebellious symbols, but to clearly clash “proper” and “outsider” head-on.

In Y2K, we connect black shirts and dark-toned trousers vertically, adding faded denim and leather accessories. We also do not tie the tie properly; instead, we wrap it around the neck, transforming it into a rock accessory.

With the same tie, in one case you maintain order, and in the other you step away from it.

One is a style that clearly defines what you break. The other is a style that chooses how much of the rock of the past to keep.

It is not about wearing black—it is about what you use black for. In the London edition, we compare ways to incorporate culture from rebellious expressions in different eras, without turning it into a costume.

New York  ·  Preppy vs Street

THE NEW YORK EDIT
Preppy or Street

THE NEW YORK EDIT

In the New York edition, what we compare are inherited values and the value we create ourselves.

In Preppy, we create a classic foundation of a white shirt, a V-neck knit, and tailored bottoms, replacing the tie with a scarf. It is a way to change just one place according to your own sensibility while keeping the basic form.

In Street, we build a rugged foundation with a leather blouson and baggy denim, wrapping a patterned scarf around your head. While preserving the strength of everyday clothing, we add only one touch of elegance from a different context.

Even when you use the same white shirt, scarf, and large bag, the meaning changes depending on whether you keep it small at the neck or make it the main focus around the face.

One is to rewrite existing codes into your own. The other is to create new codes from everyday wear.

In the New York edition, we introduce two ways to redefine the value of clothing for yourself—without ranking neatness and street style against one another.

FIND YOUR ENTRY POINT

What draws you in An recommended starting point
I want to wear well-tailored clothes with softness. Paris Classic
I want to change the shape of everyday outfits dramatically. Paris Avant-garde
I want to add rebellious elements to formal wear. London Punk
I want to wear rock in today’s balance. London Y2K
I want to use traditional codes in my own way. New York Preppy
Add refinement to something rugged. New York Street
CONCLUSION  ·  A pinch of MOOD

ONE IDEA TO TAKE WITH YOU

You do not need to recreate all six LOOKS exactly as they are.

Loosen the fit of your coat. Create a difference in length between your outerwear and your bottoms. Change how you wear a tie. Add a refined bag to faded clothing.

Even just one approach can change how you dress day to day.

A style that feels like you is not something fixed to a single city or name. It is shaped by choosing the ideas that you are drawn to from each city, then tailoring them to your body, your lifestyle, and the clothes you already have.

We hope you can start by using the style that appeals to you most as a reference.
