2014's — Sculptural ribbed gold tone ring
Founded in Spain in 1846, LOEWE continues to bridge the traditions of craft with a modern sensibility for art pieces. Here we introduce a sculptural design piece.
The rounded ribbed design wraps around the entire ring, and although it is jewelry, it is created to add a presence like a small object to your hand.
The deeply lustrous yellow-gold tones have depth that may appear slightly amber depending on the shooting environment. Because the ridged, raised contours around the outer edge pick up light in fine detail, changing the viewing angle creates beautiful shadowing. While the silhouette is wide, it conveys a soft impression rather than feeling overly hard.
The inside features a smooth, mirror-like metal surface that gives a clean finish and an excellent feel when worn. In addition, the presence of the LOEWE and MADE IN ITALY engravings further enhances its unmistakable presence as a brand accessory. Since the material engraving cannot be confirmed, we refrain from making a definitive claim that it is a precious metal; however, the glossy, gold-color finish and its dimensional form clearly embody the refined mood that is characteristic of LOEWE.
Regarding the era, the LOEWE engraving inside matches the uppercase serif-style logo system used for the current lineup from 2014 onward, and it also aligns with the brand mood after Jonathan Anderson became Creative Director. Therefore, we can recommend it as a recent model from 2014 and later. Since we cannot confirm the model number or season code, we do not specify a single-season timeframe.
